– In 4Q16 Discmakers added book printing for its BookBaby division, reports Tony Van Veen.  New hardware included an HP 10000 digital printer, plus equipment to print and laminate soft and hard covers, and for book binding and finishing.

– By the end of 1Q17 Discmakers expects to add another DVD line to service meet DVD-9 demand.

– Discmakers also recently launched Merchly, a brand that services artists’ band merchandise needs.

– Discmakers’ CD Baby digital distribution division in the past year has added reps in Chile, Argentina, Colombia, and Mexico, in addition to the rep we already had in Brazil. We are seeing greater than 50% annual growth in digital distribution in Latin America.
