SABIC is upgrading and standardizing its business systems with a best-inclass, global enterprise resource planning system. They are in the final testing stages, and this post is to inform you that the new go-live date is 10/03/2016.

One of SABIC’s  main goals throughout this transition is to minimize any potential impact and enable continuity of supply to our members. SABIC will need some information from you in order to make this successful.

Please place any order with requested delivery dates of 8/15/2016-10/31/2016 prior to 8/05/2016. This will help us to develop a plan to optimize fulfilment of your requested orders.

A planned system outage will occur prior to the new go-live as SABIC transfer data from the old system to the new ERP system. During this period,SABIC will not be able to receive new orders, modify existing orders or ship orders.

  • The final day to place an order before SABIC’s system outage is 9/19/2016.
  • The final day for shipping and invoicing orders is 9/21/2016.
  • SABIC anticipates that their systems will be back online on 10/3/2016 – (operating at reduced rates).

We will continue to communicate with you throughout the transition so that you can prepare and understand how to work with SABIC in the new system. In the meantime, please feel free to share this information within your organization.
